VR ONLINE SAFETY Let's face it, the world of online gaming in VR and out is not always the safest for our learners. Guild of Imagination provides a safe place for your learner to meet other children their age around the world all while interacting in ways never before possible. And the best part is that this experience is in a safe place where they can have fun and not worry about the dangers of online gaming. At the start of each class we will join a private room with a room code we generate and a gamer tag may be necessary to share with the teacher only. During class learners will be required to have their microphone unmuted on their Zoom meeting device. They will also be required to be in front of the Zoom meeting on their computer during class. MISSION Guild of Imagination’s mission is to empower learners to explore their creativity, embrace diverse perspectives, and foster lifelong curiosity through immersive storytelling experiences. OUR VALUES 1. Inclusivity: We embrace diversity and create a safe, inclusive space where learners from all backgrounds feel valued, respected, and empowered to explore their creative potential. 2. Empathy: We cultivate empathy and understanding, fostering a culture of compassion and support, where learners can freely express themselves and connect with others on meaningful storytelling journeys. 3. Creativity: We ignite and nurture the spark of creativity within each learner, cultivating an environment that encourages imaginative thinking, innovation, and the development of unique storytelling voices. 4. Community: We build a strong sense of community, where learners come together, collaborate, and form lasting friendships, creating a network of support and shared storytelling experiences. 5. Growth: We promote continuous learning and growth, providing opportunities for learners to expand their storytelling skills, build confidence, and unlock their full creative potential, laying the foundation for lifelong learning. GUILD OF IMAGINATION BADGES Explorer - This type of class is for learners that like to solve mysteries, explore new worlds, have fun with others around the world and discover the unique advantages of virtual reality. ATTENDANCE AND REFUNDS Because this is an ongoing club, learners will be able to drop in and out as their schedule requires. While you are enrolled we will provide a 50% refund with 48 hours notice of an upcoming absence. This will save a learner's spot in the class for a week they can't attend. Alternatively, Outschool provides a pause function. If you anticipate missing a certain number of classes, you may choose to pause your subscription. However, please be aware that pausing will not save your learner's seat in the class, and access to class recordings will not be available during the pause.
