Class Experience

Are your students eager to meet new friends? Do they love to play games? This is an ongoing course which will give learners the chance to interact with peers and play fun games while getting to know their classmates. We will begin class with an ice breaker question. All learners will get the chance to answer if they would like so we can learn more about each person. We will then play an interactive game to encourage learning and fun. Students will be able to pick between two choices which will allow for teaching of group decision making. Games can include but are not limited to Spot It, Scattergories, Trivia or Pictionary. Each student will also be given a paper activity/puzzle they can work on during class. The teacher will have a guiding topic for students to begin the conversation but students are encouraged to provide their thoughts and ask questions to the teacher and each other. At the end of class, students can pick the theme/topic for the next class.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! My name is Diana Nazari and I am so excited to have you in my classroom! I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Randolph Macon College in Virginia and a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from Shenandoah University. In my day job I work predominantly with children in the public school system helping them have optimal success in their academic environment specifically in the areas of sensory processing, fine motor skills and self care skills. At home I have three active boys and as a family we love to do many activities including hiking, sports and Cub Scout events. I have been teaching on multiple teaching platforms for the last two years and I love helping students be able to access this new and exciting technology.

I am excited to begin offering a wide portfolio of classes looking at topics related to fine motor skills, sensory motor play, executive functioning and handwriting.

I love helping children get excited about learning. I believe all classes should be engaging and interactive. My goal while teaching is to make the topic exciting and approachable. I am so excited and thrilled to get the chance to work with you at Outschool. I believe that we can work together as a team to help you reach your goals for your child. Thank you for the opportunity to work with you and your family! See you soon!
