***Learner Community experiences are free for all learners, however, you will be charged and refunded $1 to ensure a parent is making the enrollment. Refunds will be made at the end of each month.*** 👉 Learners of all ages are welcome to enroll in this learner community event, even if they are outside the stated age range. This event is recommended for learners who are independent with their technology. Please read through the class listing to make sure this is a good fit for your learner before enrolling. Get ready to part-ay! We’re kicking off Gamecon 2.0 with a Gaming Trivia party. There will be gaming trivia, music, maybe a little impromptu dancing and a whole lot of chaos! We will be using Kahoot! to test our knowledge of gaming, while listening to some music, and even celebrating with some impromptu (but optional!) dance breaks. This is going to be a high-energy event! Feel free to bring a party hat, popcorn, and even dress up in your cosplay costume. We want to see your Gamecon 2.0 spirit! 👉 Learners may need a second device or another screen available to play Kahoot. Learners should have experience with Kahoot before joining the event, as we will not be able to provide tech support during the party. ⚠️ Unlike typical Outschool classes, this will be a large-scale event with up to 300 learners, which means learners will be muted during the event. There may be times when we have the chat open, which may not be a fit for all learners. Please make sure you review Zoom features with your learner so they know how to minimize their chat if they don’t want to see the comments. 📸 According to Outschool safety guidelines, all learners must be camera-checked to participate in this event. Be sure to arrive on time and with your cameras on in order to attend this class. 🎥 For added safety, Outschool has updated the recording policy. Recordings of this event will only be available to learners who attend the event or have been pre-verified. For information on Outschool's alternative verification process you can visit here: https://support.outschool.com/en/articles/4063624-learner-verification
