Learn Game Design from professional game developers by designing levels in the super fun and successful video game, Fall Guys! We have developed games for Disney and Nickelodeon and wish to transfer that knowledge to new generations.

Class experience

The general goal of the course is for the students to learn how to design video game levels with a deeper understanding of the reasoning behind every design decision. This is how professional video game developers design video games.

Our organization is compound by two teachers Marge and Juan.

Marge Torres is a Creative Director with expertise in game design, game production, and marketing. She is Co-founder of Cocodrilo Dog, a game development company with over 12 years. 

As a game designer, she is responsible for creating and refining game mechanics and levels. As a creative director, she ensures that visual elements are consistent with the game's mechanics, story, and target audience. 

Marge Torres has developed video games across various platforms, including mobile, PC, consoles, and VR. From work for hire like JoJo Siwa: Worldwide Party to in-house IP, as well as co-productions such as Moana: Rhythm Run. 

Marge Torres has been recognized as a reference for female entrepreneurship, particularly in the gaming industry. The Inter-American Development Bank selected her as a prominent woman in the industry for their compilation on the video game industry in Latam. Marge Torres also advises new companies and professionals on entering the game development ecosystem. 

She has also been a speaker at conferences and events related to entrepreneurship and creative industries. Marge Torres has been invited to share her views on the state of the game industry in traditional media outlets such as CNN, as well as specialized media related to videogames.

Juan is a digital product leader with over 17 years of experience building award-winning entertainment software. As the Co-Founder of Cocodrilo Dog Games, he has a proven track record of success in developing interactive music titles for consoles, PC, and mobile
devices.

He created and developed Tori, an interactive music engine in Unity that has become a critical component of Cocodrilo Dog's success. Tori is an internal tool that the studio uses to create unique musical related game mechanics for their games, giving the studio a distinct competitive advantage in the industry. Its innovative design and seamless user experience have enabled them to create award-winning games, such as Audio Ninja, Beat Boy, and Boom Fighters, which have received critical acclaim for their engaging gameplay and innovative use of music.

He had the privilege of working with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, such as Disney and Nickelodeon.

Cocodrilo Dog co-produced Moana: Rhythm Run with Disney, which became the favorite game for music teachers in the classroom. The studio also developed JoJo Siwa Worldwide Party, a multiplatform video game for Outright Games and Nickelodeon that is loved by JoJo Siwa's fanbase for its engaging gameplay and vibrant visuals.
Fall Guys game must be pre-installed in the learners' computers.
