US Grade Kindergarten - 3
Students will learn how to identify some of the more well known constellations, such as The Big and Little Dipper. They will also learn how to locate the constellations within the nightsky. The class will culminate with a discussion of each student's favorite constellation! We will then make our own star viewers! I enjoy creating an atmosphere where children are comfortable with being themselves and discovering just how brilliant their minds can be. No prior knowledge is required for this class.
Learning Goals
Students will learn how to identify constellations. They will also learn the names of them. We will use listening and direction following skills to do a craft.
