In this 40-minute STEAM drawing class, young artists will unleash their creativity designing futuristic skyscrapers! All they'll need is paper, a pencil, and an eraser, while optional tools include color pencils, markers, rulers, and crayons. This small group session is perfect for those preferring a small class sized environment; rest assured, the class won't cancel due to low enrollment. We'll start with a review of lines and shapes essential for drawing skyscrapers. Then, we'll brainstorm ideas for the building's foundation and structure, discussing futuristic building needs and functions. Next, it's time to bring those skyscrapers to life! Learners are encouraged to let their imagination run wild, adding futuristic features and creative designs to their unique buildings. Throughout the class, students can ask questions and receive additional help when needed. And finally, they'll get the chance to share their incredible and unique skyscraper designs with their peers in our relaxed, creative environment. We'll cover art vocabulary, including different types of lines, shapes, basic architecture elements like floors and windows, various shapes, and concepts related to science and engineering, such as weather elements and basic structure concepts.
