At the end of Day 1, I will show you how to Group all your chicken layers together, and we will add a special "Background" layer for you to design entirely on your own before we return on Day 2 to turn this funny illustration into a simple Animated GIF. :)Class Experience
In this 2-day Procreate *simple* Animation Camp, learners will follow along with me to design and illustrate a Funny Chicken, then return the next day to turn that illustration into a super simple, but extremely funny Animated GIF! We will draw step-by-step, and at the end of each lesson every learner will have an opportunity to be Spotlighted to share their drawing/animation with the group (always optional, some learners decline). All comments or feedback will be positive, uplifting, and kind! Unless there is distracting background noise, learners may keep their microphones on in order to socialize with me or their peers throughout the meeting. If they prefer not to talk, they can use simple gestures, like thumbs up / down or head nods and shakes. Schedule: Day 1: We will design and illustrate our Funny Chickens! I will help you Group all of your chicken elements together and create an additional layer so that you may design your own background before our next meeting. Day 2: We will animate an egg falling onto and cracking over the head of our Funny Chickens! I will show you how to use specific Procreate tools, such as Ribbon/Selection Tool, Duplicate, and Warp, to achieve this! This is a super fun class for young artists with some Procreate app experience who are interested in creating a simple, but hilarious Animated GIF! Except for 2D Animation Club, if a learner is confident in another animation application they may choose to join with it. However, I will not be troubleshooting other apps during these lessons.
