In this class, students will learn the basics of paragraph writing. From learning how to write a topic sentence to ending with a conclusion that readers will remember, this class will cover it all. In a time when so much is communicated via email or text message, being able to communicate efficiently and effectively is invaluable. 

For reluctant writers or those less confident in their writing, we will incorporate discussions and games throughout the lesson to make things more engaging. Writing doesn't have to feel like a chore. It can be fun! 

If there are any particular topics or areas that you'd like your child to focus on, please have them come prepared with some ideas.(ex: descriptive paragraph, responding to a specific question, opinion paragraph)
