Description
Class Experience
This camp has several learning objectives: 1. identify linear, quadratic, absolute value, cubic, exponential, radical, and rational functions by their expressions and by their graphs 2. transform the graphs of these functions by transforming their expressions 3. apply these functions to real life situations
Hi! My name is Dr. Kerri Lookabill. I have been teaching mathematics for 30 years at both the high school and the college levels. In addition, at both of these levels, I have taught students who needed remedial lessons as well as those who were advanced. I have taught classes in general math, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, probability & statistics, and calculus 1.
Homework is not required, but I will provide extra practice problems to those who request it.
Students will need pencil, paper, graph paper, and either a graphing calculator or access to an online graphing calculator.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
3 hours per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
