Beginner - Intermediate Level
Communication is the cornerstone of success in every aspect of life. I believe it is never too early to start honing on this vital skill. This module is designed for children 5 - 8 years old because this is the time they start making friends and explore the world. This is the time they need support practicing the basic life skills like social and communication skills, exploring and expressing thoughts and emotions, build self confidence. The class size is small (3 to 6 participants) yet big enough to be able to make it interactive. I use repetition as a learning process. Repetition provides the practice that children need to master new skills, gaining fluency and strengthening the connections in the brain. I want to provide safe and comfortable space to every child so that they are able to express, learn and grow. I have created simple presentation slides to explain concepts, fun filled games and exercises will be practiced using pencil, notebooks/A4 sheets, color markers or crayons and we will summarize after every activity to establish learning. During our first meeting we will discuss about communication as a skill, understanding good communication, using positive words and various forms of communication like verbal, non-verbal etc. Most importantly, to make the session interactive I have included one exercise and one game that we will do during the class. I hope the children will have great learning experience with a little bit of fun. Please join the class on time. I hope to see you in my class!
