Students will learn Spanish by reading, talking & writing in class. Private sessions are a great option for all Levels: Beginner /Intermediate /Fluent. During these 1-on-1 lessons, we will focus on building your kid's bilingual skills.

Beginner - Advanced Level
Use it or Lose it! ☺ This class will focus on improving conversational fluency, reinforcing listening skills, reading comprehension and vocabulary building. This ongoing class is designed for Beginners / Intermediate or Advanced Spanish Students. Private sessions are the best option to accelerate your child's progress learning a foreign language. During these 1-on-1 lessons, we will focus on your child's needs and interests. Your student might be a beginner, intermediate or fluent and he/she just needs a buddy to keep improving his/her conversational skills. I will design your child's curriculum with lessons that will encourage his/her curiosity, creativity and understanding of the variety and richness of the Hispanic Culture. As an experienced Spanish Teacher, I follow the TPRS Method (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling). TPRS lessons are a mixture of reading, storytelling and repetition. This methodology motivates and prepares students to trust themselves speaking, reading and understanding a foreign language. In addition, I use a lot of visual aids during the class. This helps my students follow the session and reinforces the new vocabulary. Constant practice will build the student's confidence on reading, writing and speaking the target language. Remember that learning a foreign language requires daily practice and lots of repetition. 📖

My teaching philosophy is learning while having FUN and presenting the material in small pieces. I keep my classes small (1-8 students max.) and we do a lot repetition. My goal is for students to internalize the vocabulary so they can use it in their daily routines.
