** Dazzling Minds Academy always teaches to 1 student, if you DO NOT see students enrolled that means your child will be the only one in class. Our teachers do not mind, but I know sometimes students want to be with other students in the class. Please reach out if you have any questions** Your class is on a school trip to the aquarium. The class has seen stingrays, sharks, eels, seahorses and lots and lots of fish. The last part of the trip has been spent in a special classroom just for school groups like yours! The guide showed you all a video of a shark that looked like it was coming straight out of the screen. At last, everyone is heading back to the bus when you realise you've left your lunchbox behind. You dash back to the classroom, spot it under a table and crawl under to grab it. Just as you are about to climb out, you hear a voice say, “No one is left in here! I’ll lock it up.” You call out but the guide doesn’t hear you and the door clicks shut! There is a keypad by the door and your only way out is to figure out the code to open the lock. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In this fun escape room students will get to use their math skills to escape the aquarium. This escape room is perfect for students who want to practice their math skills in a fun way. I will start out class by explaining a few classroom norms then we will dive into our escape room. Throughout the escape room I will ask students to work together as a team and take turns. It helps if your child can use the chatbox as I will have students put their answer in the chatbox and then we will all come off mute and say the answer. To ensure that all students have fun and are working as a team I will be sharing my screen and will guide the students through the escape room. This escape room will have the following math concepts: Clue #1: missing number with a picture graph Clue #2: count in 2s Clue #3: counting in fractions Clue #4: number bond Clue #5: match the equations Clue #6: missing numbers up to 100 Clue #7: subtracting by 0s (ex:50-20) Please ensure your child is on time for class. Students who log in 10 minutes after class will not be accepted into class out of respect for other students. Also, make sure you check your audio and device are working properly. As per Outschool policy any student who doesn’t turn on their camera for verification must be placed in the waiting room until we are able to verify the students identification. **THIS CLASS IS CREATED BY ME, ANY TEACHER CAUGHT DUPLICATING MY CLASS WILL BE BREAKING COPYRIGHT LAWS AND I WILL TAKE LEGAL ACTIONS AND WILL BE REPORTED TO OUTSCHOOL** **CLASS SIZE: Please note that the class size is set to 1, therefore your child may be the only one in class if no one else registers at the last minute. If you do not want your child to be the only one send me a message and I can transfer to another class 1 hour prior to class start. **REFUNDS: AS PER OUTSCHOOL POLICY **TECHNOLOGY: PLEASE CHECK YOUR DEVICE PRIOR TO COMING TO CLASS. Up to now, Dazzling Minds Academy, has served over 6,900 students in both live and flex classes. Our flex classes offers prerecorded instruction where each child can follow along with Teacher Erika to ensure that every objective is fully understood. Our live classes are filled with fun mysteries decoding ciphers and fun technology use such as Kahoot.
Dazzling Minds Academy offers all types of classes; Flex, One-Time, Ongoing and Multiday to ensure that parents choose the best option for their child.
All courses are designed by Teacher Erika and taught by highly qualified teachers that are excited to teach and ensure that every child has fun while learning.
