Class Experience

Please join me for a live reading of one of my favorite Saint Patrick's Day stories, That's What Leprechauns Do, by Eve Bunting. We will draw our own leprechaun, and share our own stories about the mischief he causes. There will be lots of fun, and silliness. 

Students will be able to interact and share with me, as well as with each other. Sharing will be completely optional, depending on each student's individual comfort level. We will create a supportive and welcoming environment. I love hearing from students, and seeing what they have created.

I am a dedicated and passionate educator. I am a certified teacher for grades K-8 in the state of Arizona. I also have a Masters degree in Education, specializing in School Counseling, and I'm certified for grades 
Pre K - 12. I currently work as an elementary school counselor in a K-6 school. I truly love what I do. My students are the reason for that. 

My favorite topics to teach are; social-emotional learning, drawing, history, reading, math, and biology. 

During the pandemic, I gained experience teaching through Zoom. I also ran a Zoom Drawing Club last year. I loved it, and so did my students. I had many kids who signed up more than once. I wanted to bring that passion and fun to families and students on Outschool as well.
