Class Experience

📘All students will receive a Workbook PDF packet with the Vocabulary/Grammar of the week + Print out Worksheet to download and write on prior to the class ➕ a Homework online link of an interactive game for them to keep practicing the lesson after the live session.

✨This Curriculum has been carefully designed for the Beginner student to learn Spanish. 
The objective of this course is to familiarize the student with the basic elements of communication in Spanish. Every lesson, students will learn a different topic. (Please contact me if you need to see the Curriculum details). The new vocabulary will be supported with the basics of Spanish Grammar (articles/verbs/pronouns/adjectives/nouns) where students will be able to make complete sentences, utilizing them correctly through repetition and be able to speak little by little.

This Curriculum has been designed for students ages 7-12. If your learner is younger or older  but you think he/she would be a fit, please contact me directly and I'll be happy to assist you.

Week of September 25:
LESSON 1
Introduction/Emotions
We will Introduce each other in complete sentences. We will learn how to ask ¿Cómo estás? (How are you) and be able to respond using different Emotions.
Week of September 30:
LESSON 2
Greetings/Numbers
Hola! Is not just the way to greet in Spanish. Let's learn more greeting along with formal ones. We will learn the numbers 1-20 and some trick and tips of how to remember them.
Week of October 7:
LESSON 3
Age/Colors
What's my age again? Yo tengo___. Let's use the numbers we have learned to say our Age. We will ask each other ¿Cuántos años tienes?.
Life is colorful! Let's learn the colors and its pronunciation. 
Week of October 14:
LESSON 4
Vowels/Vocabulary
A-E-I-O-U: 
El Burrito eres tu!
We will learn the Vowels and two vocabulary words per Vowel. We will start to build sentences with the vocabulary and the verb to be.
Week of October 21:
LESSON 5
Alphabet A-M
We will learn the pronunciation of each letter of the Alphabet from A-M. Also we will learn one vocabulary per letter.
Week of October 28:
LESSON 6
Alphabet M-Z
We will learn the pronunciation of each letter of the Alphabet from M-Z. Also we will learn one vocabulary per letter. We will do a review of the whole Alphabet.
Week of November 4:
LESSON 7
Days of the Week
¿Qué día es hoy? What day is today? We will learn the 7 days of the week and be able to say different expressions using today, yesterday and tomorrow.
Week of November 11:
LESSON 8
Weather
¿Cómo está el clima?  We will become Weather Reporters and be able to describe our weather and ask each other How is the weather?
Week of November 18:
LESSON 9
Months of the Year
We will learn the 12 Months of the Year. What month is your birthday in? How is the weather that month?

Seasons
Four Beautiful Seasons! Each one with its own beauty.
We will learn one vocabulary per Season that makes each Season so characteristic and unique. We will build sentences with each vocabulary.
Week of December 2:
LESSON 11
Spring and Summer Clothes
What do you wear for Spring and Summer? We will share to the class what we wear for these milder seasons using complete sentences.
Week of December 9:
LESSON 12
Fall and Winter Clothes
What do you wear for Fall and Winter? We will share to the class what we wear for these colder seasons using complete sentences.
Week of December 23:
LESSON 13
Parts of the Face
We will learn the parts of our Face. Ojos, nariz, boca...
Week of December 30:
LESSON 14
Eyes and Hair
Let's describe ourselves by saying what color hair and eyes we have.
Week of December 30:
LESSON 15
Parts of the Upper Body
Heads-Shoulder-Knees and Toes! We are blessed to say: "I have____".

Parts of the Lower Body
Heads-Shoulder-Knees and Toes! From the mid body section all the way to our toes!
