Hello! My name is Ms. Cassy and I am a 20+ year teacher! This is a 36-week Kindergarten class! Each week we will have 3 live classes, and cover the core skills that all Kindergarteners are expected to know including math and language arts. CURRICULUM SPECIFICS (see syllabus, pls) ------------------------------------------------- Every week has a unique theme, such as Colors Galore. *** NOTE: Please see syllabus, below, for the complete curriculum! *** In each unit, each week, students will learn 1 sight word and work on basic language arts skills like blending and segmenting words. Each week, we will also focus on basic math skills, such as counting and pattering. Learning Goals & Expectations ----------------------------------- *This class is fun and also personalized to each unique learner! *Learners are expected to complete their weekly assignments. *Weekly homework will be given in the form of a worksheet or an activity. *Each of the 4 units will culminate in a review week, where each learner will complete a special themed project. *Learners are expected to be polite to the teacher and communicate if they need help with any topic!
Learning Goals
Learners will learn basic segmenting and blending skills and also basic sight words.
Learners will learn to understand a calendar and to add, subtract and count to 50.
