The first week of class, students will take a fitness test (How many push ups, sit ups, squats, and plank time). We will check this every 6 weeks. If your student joins in after this time, we will take this at the next fitness test time.Class Experience

Class Details: Frequency: Once per week Duration: 40 minutes per session Overview: In this action-packed class, participants will experience a comprehensive full-body workout that focuses on building endurance, enhancing strength, and fostering a lifelong appreciation for physical activity. I will lead students through a variety of exercises, ensuring they not only work up a sweat but also develop valuable fitness skills and knowledge. Key Features: Balanced Approach: This class is carefully designed to strike the perfect balance between cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength development. Students will engage in a mix of cardio exercises, bodyweight movements, and resistance training to create a well-rounded fitness routine. While you don't have to have dumbbells, it would be great if you did! Fun and Engaging: I believe in the power of enjoyment to sustain a lifelong commitment to fitness. My workouts are designed to be exciting, dynamic, and full of energy, keeping participants motivated and eager to come back for more. Students will be able to identify the best ways to start and end a workout to avoid injury.
Students will be able to, after I model the exercise, complete a variety of upper, middle, and lower body exercises using correct form.
Students will be able to chat with other girls and boys their age and build a camaraderie with each other.
Students will be able to improve their strength, endurance, and flexibility.
Students will….have fun! And access to a safe space to get their workout on!
Other Details
Parental Guidance
Parental guidance is suggested. Please make sure your child is drinking water and paying attention to their body. Make sure that the area they are in is clean of clutter. I will be sure to give students breaks - to drink water and cool down - but I need you to help make sure they do these things!
Supply List
On Sundays, I will send out a message letting you know what you need outside of the first two materials - along with a list of optional items to bring. Sneakers/Comfortable shoes (every week) Plenty of space (every week) A Chair (or stool - for step ups. You won’t need this every week) Weights: Jugs of water, water bottles, laundry detergent bottles, 2 liter bottles (save them and put water in them!). You don’t have to have weights - but they are a great addition! If you have actual weights, that is perfect! Mat/Pad - Sometimes the ground just doesn’t feel so good and a softer area to work may feel better. Optional: Barbell (empty), kettle bell, resistance bands
