Frozen Preschool Sight Words & Dance!
Using music and movement, we will learn sight words, find them in our favorite Frozen 1 & 2 songs, and learn dance moves to 4 different songs! It's a Frozen Sight Word Dance Party!

In this Pre-K Sight Words & Dancing we will learn 8 sight words while dancing and having fun to Frozen 1& 2 Music! During this one-time, live class, we will read and review 8 sight words. After reading and reviewing the 8 sight words, we will listen to and look at the lyrics to Frozen songs. While listening, we will identify our sight words within the lyrics which will be posted in a unique way in order to highlight the sight words we are learning. Then we will dance to the songs we listened to. We will learn dance terms and a short routine to a mix of the music we have been listening to throughout the class.

Through Movement & Music, we will encourage the students to keep their ears and eyes open to find sight words.

Parental Guidance
With any movement, parents & students should notify me of any health concerns or restrictions there may be. There is risk when taking a movement class and parents should be aware that a safe space should be available. Students should wear comfortable clothing, make sure there is adequate space for dancing, and bring a water bottle if needed.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I teach Movement classes in studio and online as well! I have been teaching dance for 15+ years to all ages (18months - adult) as well as Fitness classes to kids and adults. Dance has been a major part of my life for 32 years and I love bringing that passion to others. I've worked with young and old, special needs, low-impact or injured, wheel-chair bound, and all others!
I believe that Dance/Movement is a rare "sport" that is all-inclusive; gross and fine motor skills, spatial awareness, emotionally stimulating, builds self-confidence, improves discipline & listening skills, and much more.
My family consists of my super supportive husband, my oldest daughter (8) youngest daughter (6), and then the littlest one is 3years old, but he was born 3-1/2 months early. We spent a significant amount of time in the NICU in the city we live in and are forever grateful for modern medicine! Our life has been a rollercoaster and, as crazy as this sounds, I wouldn't have it any other way... mostly. haha!
Being a mama myself, I try to be flexible with my schedule and appreciate the understanding from parents as I navigate our medically complex son's needs as well as two active girls!
