In my primary career I have worked with many students from varying neurodiverse backgrounds in achieving their goals to grow a great foundation in Biology. If you want to prep for future classes, get ready for the AP Bio test, or need help on a specific subject, I am here to be of assistance! 

Classes are taught based on inquiry-based models and use discussion strategies to make sure we are not just memorizing, but fully understanding and retaining key info (in a way that's hopefully fun too). I draw from experiences such as studying in the Ecuadorian rainforest and from other pools of stories that help convey how these topics are applied in innovate ways within the real world from AI Medicinal Technology through Microstructures utilized to understand the colors of dinosaur feathers. I do try to keep up-to-date with current events to also show how the science is still growing!

This is an autism, ADHD, and other neurodivergences-friendly classroom. I myself am neurodivergent and this an open space where a student does not need to mask.
