In this creepy book club, we will discuss the Goosebumps book of the week. What better way to practice reading comprehension skills than through discussion of an awesome scary story!
Class experience
Join me for a frighteningly good time as we discuss a creepy Goosebumps book. Over the course of two weeks, students will be assigned a Goosebumps books to read. Some of each book will be read in class, and some will be assigned for reading at home. We will begin class with introductions and then move into reading and discussion of the Goosebumps book. I have years of experience teaching literacy skills in the elementary school. I have a Master's in Reading and have taken many professional development courses to continue my craft in providing effective instruction that helps students achieve goals and become successful learners. More than anything, I am just a person who cares and wants children to feel successful and accomplished.
Homework Offered
Students are expected to complete any reading assignments.2 - 4 hours per week outside of class
