Hello! My name is Jen. I live in Ontario, Canada and I was an elementary teacher Pre-K to Grade 8 for 18 years in the public school system. I have been an online teacher since May 2019, and I really enjoy teaching small group and one on one classes. I teach classes for all of these age ranges including one on one tutoring instruction. I'm most passionate about teaching K to 6 math and teaching reading using phonics and the sounds we hear in words to help kids read and spell with increased accuracy.

From building your child's reading and spelling confidence, to learning fractions and order of operations, to singing, moving, and sharing with kindergarten students, I can't wait to meet your learner! My goal is for every student to leave my class with new information, personal connections, and a smile on their face.

My husband and I have two children ages 14 and 12, and we enjoy our three cats, summers spent by the pool, and time with friends and family.
