Friendly and Supportive Writing Support: 6 Week Session

Students will receive individual assistance with skills to support improvement in writing. These skills include grammar, vocabulary, fluency, and organization. Class time will be devoted to specific areas of concern, and students can bring specific writing assignments to the classroom setting for review and application of strategies. Complementary to this, I will review strategies in place that will support growth in writing. 

Specific areas for reinforcement and practice can be reviewed via the provided whiteboard, or students can share their screen to bring specific writing samples to the classroom. Some students may wish to dictate their writing. 

Through the class schedule, students have the option to work on long-term writing assignments and address needs for enhancement of vocabulary, organization, fluency, and mechanics and grammar. 

Class is informal, with assistance being provided on an individual basis. My teaching style is supportive and informal, with attention to specific student need.

Students do not need prior writing experience to join the classroom.
