Bonjour! I am Madame Heather and I am a licensed French teacher for ages preK-12. I have 15 years teaching experience in the classroom and over 5 years teaching experience online. I have a BA in French, an MA in Sociolinguitics, and I have lived in the south of France where I taught ESL. I am an engaging teacher who focuses first on making the student feel comfortable learning a new language in a natural way. I believe learning a language should be fun and I also like to use manipulatives to keep students moving during class. I look forward to helping your student expand their interest in francophone culture and language.
Homework Offered
Students will have poems/readings to do prior to class. Students will also complete their own poetry anthology in French and present it at the end of the course.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
