French Mistakes Detective Club

Once a week, your child will become a French Mistakes Detective! Students will work as a team to find all mistakes in the text. This class is perfect for students who have a good to general knowledge of French but make several errors while writing. Students will read French sentences and find the mistakes as they analyse each one with the teacher. There will be a focus on plurals, verb conjugation and punctuation as well as the use of masculine and feminine words. Regular practice is important. As this class is ongoing, your child can join as many times as he or she wants. Every week we will be working on 4 or 5 new sentences. Here is a synopsis of the first 6 weeks:

Week of January 31st: Plurals of nouns and adjectives
Week of February 7th: Verb conjugation when there are plural nouns
Week of February 14th: Punctuation and plurals with a Valentine's day theme 
Week of February 21st: The use of masculine and feminine
Week of February 28th: Plurals of nouns and adjectives 
Week of March 7th: Verb conjugation with verbs "être" and "avoir" (to be and to have)
