Our goal in this book club is to provide learners an interactive and engaging way to practice their French reading and conversation skills.
Julie-Anna was raised by her French mother and American father in France, Luxembourg, and the U.S.A with her 4 siblings. She is a native speaker with 5+ years of experience homeschooling in French. She was educated in the French school system as a child, where she was taught the French cursive style with fountain pens (stylo plume), and learned to speak French fluently. Fountain pens are her go-to writing tool to this day.

She is a former music teacher, and currently homeschools her three children in a trilingual home. Julie-Anna holds a B.A. and a Level-5 TEFL certification. Julie-Anna has experience working with children between the ages of 3 and 18 years of age, as well as a variety of neurotypes. She has worked as a ghostwriter, copyeditor, and proofreader. She loves the written word. Books were her first and last love and she never leaves home without a book, a journal, and a beautiful fountain pen. Some of her favorite authors are C.S. Lewis, Jane Austen, and Charles Dickens.
