In this 16-week Beginner French world language course, learners will continue to develop skills learned from Part 1 of the course. Students will have an opportunity to learn how to speak French and develop their skills.

Homework
1-2 hours per week. Homework will be assigned weekly to help learners apply the concepts through various exercises. Additionally, there will be recording assignments to further enhance their practice and understanding.
Certificate of Completion
Families may request a certificate of completion once the course has been successfully finished. This certificate serves as a formal acknowledgment of the learner’s participation and achievement, providing a tangible record of the skills and knowledge gained throughout the course.

Students will learn through lectures, readings, and assignments provided by the teacher. This is a live interactive online course and students may email the instructor if there are any questions. The class time is structured according to the syllabus outlined for each week along with the following topics. Upon completion, the following class would be Beginner French for Young Learners (Part 3).

Lesson 1:
Gender and Number of Nouns and Articles
 Learners will learn about the gender of nouns and the use of definite articles for masculine and feminine nouns. Students will learn how to use masculine and feminine articles before a vowel sound or mute 'h' and explore the relationship between singular nouns and definite articles. Students will also learn strategies for identifying the gender of nouns.

Indefinite Articles; Plural Nouns; Descriptive Adjectives; and Color Adjectives
 Learners will learn about the use of indefinite articles with masculine and feminine nouns and how to pronounce plural nouns. Students will learn to identify descriptive adjectives and their agreement in gender and number, focusing on color adjectives and those that precede the noun.

La description Physique; Common French Adjectives; Adjective endings in French
 Learners will learn about physical descriptions in French and common adjectives used for this purpose. Students will also learn about adjective endings and how to use them correctly for gender and number agreement.

 Learners will review nouns and articles, including indefinite articles, and adjectives, with a focus on exercises from the Week 1 to Week 3 lessons. Students will practice applying their knowledge through various exercises to reinforce their understanding of these concepts.
