Description
Class Experience
Students will improve their understanding of various French terms and phrases. Students will practice vocabulary that relates to their lives and will practice expressing themselves in French.
Annie Edwards has for nearly four decades been a teacher, administrator, and mentor in an independent school setting. She grew up in Maine. Most recently, Annie served as the Director of University Guidance at Beijing City International School in Beijing, China. Prior to that post, Annie resided in upstate New York in the U.S where she served as the Associate Director of College Guidance, Academic Director and Advisor of the Community service program. She also taught French, English and psychology. Annie holds a bachelor's degree from St. Lawrence University, a master's degree from Middlebury College, and a Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learner progress is assessed by the student's increased knowledge and comfort level in the material discussed. There will be time at the end of each class for a question and answer session. we will have fun speaking French and taking risks in a safe environment. I have taught French for over 30 years and I love helping reluctant learners gain confidence in their speaking ability.
