In this class, we will explore Colas Gutman's book, "Chien Pourri à l'École" through a mix of learning and fun. Each week students will read one chapter of the book and watch a video as I introduce some vocabulary that may be useful as they read. Students will have some open-ended guidance questions to answer, but they will also be invited to share any thoughts they had on the chapter they read. We will also practice comprehension and vocabulary words by playing Kahoot, and students will have a final project the last week.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have been learning French for 9 years now, from French 1 - French 5 as well as 4 years of immersion French classes. I am conversationally fluent and at a C1 level. I have tutored French immersion from May 2020 through August 2020 when the French immersion school near us closed for quarantine, and I've been teaching French online for two years.
I also continue to take French lessons with native speakers, and I am working towards my Bachelors in French, which includes classes in advanced French immersion, French literature, and French education. I attended a 7-week summer French immersion camp through Middlebury College.
I also have my certification in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), the principles from which I apply to my French classes.
