Class Experience

Beginner Level
In Beginner 1 Part 1, students will embark on their French language journey with a fun and interactive approach. Over six weeks, they'll learn essential greetings, numbers, and basic vocabulary through engaging video lessons and interactive activities based around a sentence builder for each topic.

Each week students will be provided with a video and a sentence builder explaining the vocabulary and grammar along with lots of sequenced practise exercises to help them learn the vocabulary and understand and use the grammar.

Students start with listening and reading activities and are recommended to stick with their receptive skills of reading and listening before moving on to practising their productive skills through guided translation, writing and speaking activities.

Students are able to access teacher support for 6 weeks.

By the end of the course, students will be able to introduce themselves, count, and use common phrases confidently. This course is perfect for young learners eager to explore the French language and culture in a supportive and enjoyable environment.

Students are provided with feedback Monday-Friday within 48 hours of submitting their work. They are able to ask questions where needed and they will be provided with a response Monday-Friday within 24 hours.

My name is Issaiyanee and Issai Teach is my very small company through I teach a languages (French, English and Mauritian Creole).

I have a passion for working with language and languages and love to share my enthusiasm for multilingualism with my students.

I have studied linguistics as an undergraduate and applied linguistics as a post graduate before completing my PGCE and qualifying as a foreign language teaching in the UK.

I have been teaching for about 4 years and tutoring for about 5, working with students improve their French and English. I taught in schools for two years before setting up my company to teach online. I currently work with platforms teaching classes for the UK curriculum, both group classes (up to 20) and 1:1. classes.

I enjoy making my students laugh in the lesson and making them feel comfortable and providing an enjoyable classroom environment. I use sentence builders to provide my students with as much support as they need throughout their learning journey and I tend to favour task based learning and lots of input. I give my students lots of models before asking them to produce any language.

I love to cook and play around with clay to create tiny plant pots. I have a tiny applehead chihuahua named Sanka.
