Welcome to the Honors Fractions Class. Week 1 Day 1: Introduction to Fractions - Numerator, denominator Day 2: Improper Fractions and Mixed Fractions Week 2 Day 1: Simplification Day 1: Equivalence Week 3 Day 1: Addition of Fractions with the same denominator Day 1: Addition of Fractions with different denominators Week 4 Day 1: Subtraction of Fractions with the same denominator Day 2: Subtraction of Fractions with different denominators Week 5 Day 1: Multiplication of Fractions Day 2: Multiplication of Fractions Week 6 Day 1: Division of Fractions Day 2: Division of Fractions Mastering Math concepts takes time and it is a process that requires patience to:- - Introduce the concept. - Practice, practice, and practice some more. - Master the concept. - Teach another person. This takes an average of 5-6 weeks depending on the student. We keep the class small on purpose so that each student gets individualized help when needed per class. ****Students MUST be fluent in Multiplication Table before attending this class at least 12 X 12 **** Students Must be fluent in Division too. ****Homework is a MUST in this class. Five days a week, 5 Questions a days. Students must be willing to devote this time to master the concept.
