PLEASE NOTE THAT Five Lessons to Fraction Mastery - Self Paced CAN BE JOINED AT ANY TIME DURING THE YEAR. Note: First weekly video lesson and worksheets to be sent out to the students November 17. Videos will be produced at least once per week. All videos will be produced and made available by the end of December, 2025. Teacher Bob here. I have taught for more than 30 years, and during that time have taught from grades 4 through high school. I have to say one of my favorite courses to teach is math. Not only is math important (we use it in many areas of life), but it's also fun. In this self-paced Five Lessons to Fraction Mastery course, a lesson video and accompanying materials will be sent to students before the start of each week, typically on Sunday. Students will watch the provided video to learn each week’s lesson and work through example questions with Teacher Bob simultaneously. Weekly worksheets with answer keys will also be distributed to ensure students understand the new material. If students have any questions, they can reach out to me on the Outschool platform. I will respond with the necessary help, usually on Tuesdays and Thursdays, if not, sooner. If you sign up your son or daughter after the course starts, they will begin receiving lesson, starting with the first video and material, if you opt for paying weekly. If the entire course is paid for, you will receive access to all videos produced, to date. This is a great way for your young learner to learn at their own pace and have a teacher working along with them as needed. So, for a fun and educational approach to learning fractions, join us in Five Lessons to Fraction Mastery. To see this course in detail, see the syllabus. See you in class! Hello parents and students!
I’m Teacher Bob, and I’m excited to bring over 40 years of teaching experience to my Outschool courses. After retiring from my local school board, I now teach exclusively on Outschool, dedicating my time to creating engaging math lessons for students of all ages.
I hold a Bachelor of Education, have completed graduate studies in science and math, and am certified to teach mathematics from elementary through high school. Additionally, I have a TEFL designation, which allows me to work with students from diverse linguistic backgrounds. My passion for mathematics and science drives me to make these subjects exciting and accessible, helping students see the real-world applications and beauty in both.
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and grandkids, as well as fishing and skywatching—activities that keep me grounded and spark my curiosity about the world around us.
I believe that every student can succeed with the right support, and I strive to create a positive, supportive, and fun environment where students can truly thrive.
I look forward to helping your child excel in math and develop a love of learning on Outschool!
Hope to see you soon!
Take care,
Teacher Bob
