This class will prepare students with the foundational math needed for 5th grade. This review covers the major concepts learned in 4th grade so that the students are prepared for 5th grade. Students will review the place value system, algebraic thinking, fractions, geometry, and measurement in a fun, supportive, and encouraging environment.
Homework Offered
I will provide 5-10 example problems for homework after each class. This is voluntary. If a student is struggling, they can also post their concerns on the classroom wall for more clarification or message me privately. Homework should not take more than 15 minutes per assignment.Assessments Offered
I will provide optional quizzes, as well as an optional test at the end of the course to assess whether the student is ready for the next grade.Grades Offered
