This is a highly individualized twice a week for 4 weeks class to work on foundational reading skills for struggling or beginning readers.

Welcome to Success in Learning Reading! Throughout our time together your learner will focus on strengthening their reading skills. Skills include phonemic awareness, decoding, fluency, comprehension, and other skills deemed necessary for success. We will work on these skills in a variety of ways such as songs, rhythms, movement, and games taking a multisensory approach. This class will be highly individualized to meet your learners needs and help them gain confidence in their abilities....
- Students will improve their reading skills including decoding, comprehension, and phonemic awareness.
Ms. Katelynn has been a teacher for the past seven years. For the past two years she has been working as a special education teacher for students in kindergarten through third grade. She loves to teach and share her passion for learning with her students. It is Ms. Katelynn's goal to show her students that they can be successful in the classroom and help them gain the confidence they need to do so!

This class may use some Google apps such as Jamboard and Google Slides. Google does not allow children under 13 to create their own accounts. It is recommended that parents set up a Google account for their learner using family link. Students will be accessing Jamboard and Google slides during class time.
