This class is taught in English.

Students will acquire a basic understanding of Algebra 1 foundational concepts. 
At the conclusion of this course:
a) Students should be well prepared with the tools to be successful in an Algebra 1 course.  or
b) Students that struggled in Algebra 1, should have a better understanding on the foundational concepts of Algebra 1. This will help prepare them for success prior to entering their next course of study, Geometry/Algebra 2.

A daily "exit slip" will completed prior to the conclusion of class, which will cover the daily concepts covered. This will provide a quick feedback to the student, teacher, and parents. We will go over the short "exit slip" assessment as a whole group.

The last week will provide time to review topics, as well as, provide an informal assessment of ALL concepts that were covered over the previous weeks.
Grades Offered

I will provide/post Weekly Handouts through Outschool that will be used throughout the weekly lesson. It is optional if the students chooses to print their own copy. I will have a copy made available during our Zoom sessions for them to use as well. It is NOT a requirement to PRINT them. 

We will also incorporate the use of a graphing Calculator. 
Students can access the calculator for free for at home use. I will have it available for use throughout our classes via Zoom screen sharing.
