Welcome to Miss Devyn's Video Game Universe, where the excitement of Fortnite comes to life in an engaging online social club designed exclusively for kids! The Fortnite Fun Club offers a fantastic opportunity for young gamers to explore the virtual world of Fortnite, develop their gaming skills, and connect with fellow players in a safe and supervised environment.

In this 50-minute weekly online club, participants will embark on thrilling adventures, discover new strategies, and engage in exciting gameplay sessions. Led by experienced instructors, the Fortnite Fun Club provides a platform for kids to enhance their gaming abilities, foster teamwork, and make lasting friendships. 

🎮 Play on any console you want! Fortnite is cross-platform compatible, and learners can connect from their PC, Play Station, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch. Regardless of the device your learner or their friends own, they’ll be able to play the game together. 

🥳 Small Class Sizes:
Our smaller class sizes guarantee quality attention given to each individual! 
Rather than getting lost inside a giant class or being isolated inside a Zoom breakout room, our teachers play along on their screens and get to know every individual, and learners are given a chance to form true bonds of friendship.

Fortnite Exploration: Dive into the ever-evolving world of Fortnite and discover its unique features, locations, and gameplay mechanics.
Gaming Skills Development: Learn essential gaming techniques, improve accuracy, build faster, strategize effectively, and master other key skills to enhance gameplay performance.

Cooperative Gameplay: Engage in team-based activities and challenges that foster collaboration, communication, and teamwork with fellow club members.

Creative Mode Adventures: Unleash your creativity and design custom Fortnite worlds, structures, and game modes using the Creative mode.

Social Connections: Interact with other club members through friendly competitions, discussions, and shared experiences, building lasting friendships with like-minded Fortnite enthusiasts.

Digital Citizenship: Promote positive online behavior, respect, and sportsmanship while fostering a safe and inclusive gaming environment.

📝 Course Requirements:
- Access to a computer or gaming console capable of running Fortnite.
- A stable internet connection suitable for online gaming.
- Basic familiarity with Fortnite and its controls.
- A headset or headphones with a microphone for effective communication during gameplay and discussions.

Learning Goals
Our goal in all of our classes is to give students, especially neurodiverse students, a safe place to play video games online. We also hope that they will make great friends who share their interests and passions.

Learning Needs
All of our teachers have experience working with neurodivergent and neurotypical students. If you have specific questions, please let us know and we can help you find the right teacher for your child.
Parental Guidance
Students will need to share their gamer tag with their teacher. There is some mild gaming violence, however there is no gore or blood. No third party tools are needed.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
