While these traits may not be explicitly labeled as such within the context of gaming, their development is inherent in the challenges and dynamics of the competition.

Ideas: As students strategize and plan their gameplay, they exercise critical thinking and creativity, formulating unique approaches to tackle in-game challenges. Each decision they make is a testament to their ability to generate and implement ideas effectively.

Organization: Successful gameplay demands precise coordination and planning. Students must organize their resources, communication, and actions to achieve their objectives, honing their organizational skills in the process.

Word Choice: In-game communication requires concise and impactful word choice to convey vital information efficiently. Students learn to be mindful of their language, enhancing their ability to articulate thoughts clearly.

Conventions: Within the competitive environment, students adhere to in-game rules and etiquette, developing a sense of responsibility and respect for rules and conventions.

Strategic Thinking: Fortnite's gameplay heavily relies on strategic decision-making, as students must plan their moves, anticipate opponents' actions, and adapt to dynamic situations. This fosters the development of analytical and tactical thinking skills.

Problem-Solving: In-game challenges necessitate quick problem-solving as students devise solutions on the spot, encouraging them to think critically and creatively under pressure.

Adaptability: As gameplay unfolds, students must adapt to changing circumstances and adjust their strategies accordingly, fostering resilience and adaptability in challenging situations.

Hi, my name is Sam and I am a dad of 2 and I am a UK based teacher, martial artist, nutritionist and personal trainer. I have a bachelors degree in Human Nutrition, a post graduate degree in teaching Design and Technology and a masters degree in Psychology.

My passion is fitness and wellbeing, and love weight training, Brazilian Jiujitsu, boxing and I am a retired MMA fighter. I have taught group fitness and martial arts classes to adults and kids for the last 7 years at my own gym in the UK. Due to Covid I am bringing my passion to the online environment, as young people are struggling to stay active with all of the restrictions,

I take pride in always promoting an inclusive teaching environment. Not all students learn in the same way, nor start from the same level and I always endeavor to make learning fun rather than laborious and ensure that no matter what level they start of that they can progress and achieve the desired outcomes.

I look forward to meeting your learner in my virtual classroom!
