In this one-time class students will learn vocabulary words: push, pull, gravity, round and round, up and down, and force with an engaging and interactive lesson at the beginning of class. I like to have students move around during the presentation so having a space for your child to get up and move during class will be helpful. ⭐️Then learners will turn into engineers who need to create their own marble run. ⭐️Once their creation is complete they will use scientific vocabulary words to communicate what they built. ⭐️I believe that it's important to build relationships with each child in class and that students learn more when they have the opportunity to share and respond to each other. Therefore, I keep my classes small. This gives me an opportunity to get to know each student in class more. ⏰If this day and time doesn't work for you please let me know. I'm always willing to open additional sections if I'm available at the time you desire. ⏰
Learning Goals
Students will learn about push and pull.
Students will learn that gravity pulls things down to the ground.
Students will learn about force.
Students will be able to communicate how their marble runs works using new science vocabulary.
