This class is for the true aviation enthusiast who gets super excited when they hear a plane overhead, or see Top Gun come on TV or  meet a pilot! It is chock full of amazing and exciting stories of aviation feats all the way from the Wright Brothers first flight in 1903 to the Rutherford siblings just last year in 2022. So, if your learner is the type to kick back to a nice aviation documentary, then this is the class for you! Students will be invited to share stories and comment on the awe inspiring acts we learn about. The topics will be scheduled as follows:

Week 1 - First in Flight - How the Wright Brothers got it done!
Week 2 - War Birds - The Airplanes in WWI
Week 3 - The Golden Age of Aviation - Flying Firsts
Week 4 - Barnstorming and Wing Walking - Amazing Feats
Week 5- Unbelievable World Records - fastest, longest, heaviest, and more
Week 6 - Aviation Share Out - students share their own favorite aviation fact or story
