Class Experience
Learn how to play the flute! Students will learn how to read music, establish good breath support, produce a beautiful sound, and play some simple songs on the flute, as well as take care of their instruments. No prior experience is required. If students already know how to read music, we’ll just start on the flute. Please indicate your student’s level of proficiency upon enrollment. I am happy to teach students outside of the listed age range; just let me know if your student if this is the case. I like to be prepared!

Supply List
Students will need access to a flute. Recommended brands include Yamaha, Gemeinhardt, Eastman, Trevor James, and Pearl. They will also need a cleaning rod.
