What is a Flex Class? This class is taught in English.
I started playing the flute in fourth grade and fell in love with the instrument. Along the way, I did Fine Arts competitions, school concerts, and a large church worship band. I would like to share that love, excitement, and confidence of learning an instrument with those beginning and interested in playing the flute.

Students are expected to have a beginner's flute. We will be using one book that you need to purchase if you are to play the songs and practices that I do for the recording: "Standard of Excellence: Enhanced Comprehensive Band Method (Book 1- Flute)" by Bruce Pearson (ISBN 0 8497 0750 1). This can be bought at many different websites (just make sure the ISBN is the same). It should cost about $15 and it generally comes with CDs to hear how to play some of the songs in the book.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
