Class Experience

My name is Pam Irwin and I teach music on Outschool.
- I have a bachelor's and a master's degree in music performance, specifically in flute.
- I have been a freelance music teacher for twenty years.
- I have been a classroom music teacher for fifteen years and during that time I taught middle and high school students on an informal basis.

Students should have completed Flute 101, parts I and II OR be familiar with notes C, B, A, G (low and high octave), how to put a flute together, how to play simple melodies or have completed at least three months of band or a musical ensemble. The following topics will be covered:

Week 2 - Review Lesson 7 and learn how to play E-flat; play pieces in the key of B-flat and F major.(Lesson 8)
Week 3 - Review Lesson 8 and begin Lesson 9 -learning F#, introducing 3/4 time.
