Students are going to learn to see main shapes of flowers when looking at a reference photo. The goal is to teach them how to see the main shapes and interpret those shapes into drawings. Once they have learned these basic skills they will be able to take the knowledge they have learned and use it to doodle on their own! By the end of this class students should be able to find their own reference photos, identify main shapes, and doodle as many different flowers as they like. 

I am a Fine Art Letterpress Stationer and Calligrapher. That’s a whimsical way to say I make very fancy wedding invitations using calligraphy, illustration, and old print method called letterpress. As much as I love working with my brides I have a passion for teaching art to children! The skills I teach my students in Outschool are skills that I am using in my business on a daily basis!
