Practice makes progress! Students will learn not only how to create fanciful flourishes using Crayola Marker Calligraphy but they will learn that it's ok to make mistakes but keep practicing in order to improve. Not everything we create as artists looks great on the first try! Students will learn how to become amazing calligraphers by learning that practice truly makes progress! The goal for students taking this course is to enhance their calligraphy skills. Student will learn the basic principles for creating balanced and artful flourishes. By giving them another tool they will be able to take their calligraphy to the next level! I look forward to flourishing with you all! 

I am a Fine Art Letterpress Stationer and Calligrapher. That’s a whimsical way to say I make very fancy wedding invitations using calligraphy, illustration, and old print method called letterpress. As much as I love working with my brides I have a passion for teaching art to children! The skills I teach my students in Outschool are skills that I am using in my business on a daily basis!
