Beginner Level
In this 6 week Flex class, young learners will be able to practice the beginnings of conversational Spanish. Most conversation starts with an introduction and several starting questions. We will go over 5 of those and their possible responses before wrapping up the last class with a full conversation utilizing the words and phrases learned in the 5 previous classes. Week 1Lesson 1How are you?This lesson teaches you to ask and answer how someone is. There is a practice assignmentWeek 2Lesson 2What are you doing?This lesson covers common activities and how to talk about what someone is doing. There is a practice assignment.Week 3Lesson 3Where are you going?For this lesson, we will go over multiple places and how to communicate where someone is going.Week 4Lesson 4With who?This lesson covers the general names for family members and friends and a few grammar points. There is a practice assignment and a Kahoot!Week 5Lesson 5How will you get there?Our topic this week will discuss modes of transportation and how to talk about them.Week 6Lesson 6Conversation PracticeThis week is all about practice. There is a video and Quizlet practice activities.
Students will be able to hold a simple conversation in Spanish with confidence.
I lived in Spanish speaking country for over 5 years and learned Spanish through real life conversations and scenarios.
