~~~COURSE SUMMARY~~~
This course is a basic introduction to skincare.  Did you know that major cosmetic brands like Estée Lauder and L'Oreal have targeted Gen Z as the next big market for skincare? They have even started targeting Gen Alpha. With big brands now marketing to tweens and teens, and YouTube/TikTok/Instagram skinfluencers getting paid to promote product lines,  it's hard to know what a teenager actually needs for their skin. If you're not a skincare junkie, or even if you are, this course will help you understand the skin you're in! My goal is to help you be more confident in your routine and purchases. Everyday skincare is a skill that doesn't take much effort, but sometimes we just don't know where to start, so I am here to help change that!
~~~FLEX CLASS~~~
This is a "flex class," which means there is no live component. Instead, each week for four weeks, students will be given a recorded lecture (20-40 minutes long). The video will be posted by 4pm PST. Each lecture will include activities to work on after the recording to show how the lesson can be applied. This will also allow for discussion and interaction with other students on the class page.

If you'd rather enroll in the live class, please follow this link or message me to arrange a time!

Learning Goals

My goal is to give you confidence in your skincare choices!

By the end of this class you will know the following:
1. Your skin type (oily, dry, combination, sensitive)
2. The factors that can affect your skin and how (diet, stress, hormones)
3. What to look for when reading an ingredient list
4. The order to correctly apply products.

We will do some fun skincare myth busting along the way! (For example: Toothpaste will not help get rid of zits, don't use it on your face!)
