US Grade Pre - Kindergarten-1
Reading can be tricky! But together, we can do it! This is a flex class therefore we will not meet live, learners will be sent videos and be encouraged to send Miss Joice a video. This class is a 5 week course where students will learn the basics short vowel sounds. My classes are the perfect way mix of entertainment and learning. I have been teaching children for over 20 years and have a degree in Dance and English. We will move and learn while having fun! My performing credits include Touring the World with Broadway’s Evita, Sesame Street Live, and performing in Disney World Theme Parks as well as regional theatres for children and adults alike. It is extra fun to take class from the real life Pinkalicious, Little Red Riding Hood and Dorothy! I look forward to meeting your student and learning through play.

After class, learners will be given a show and tell assignment as well as an activity sheet to work on to continue the learning process. Learners are encouraged to send Miss Joice a video sharing their show and tell item as well as showing their activity sheet. Miss Joice will always reply to these videos.
Each week we will read and practice writing together, as you watch the videos, please have a pencil and paper handy.
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
