For 4 fun weeks, you’ll be guided through multiple tutorials on How to Create a Miniature Spooky Witch's living room (I use & recommend oven bake polymer clay, but you may also use air dry clay!)

Class Experience

There are NO live meetings for this class! A Weekly Clay Tutorial Video will be posted in the classroom, every Monday at 12:00am (Pacific Time). You may view the video at your convenience. Each week for 4 weeks students will be guided through multiple clay tutorials on how to make a Minature Spooky Witch's Living Room inside a small wooden box!

Art in general is like a sport. You have to frequently train that muscle to get even better! This 4 week course will for sure improve each learner’s polymer clay skills and confidence. Through these videos student will learn how to start and complete 4 clay masterpieces!

Every week, after students post their creation to the class, I will send out feedback. This feed back should help students improve their future creations.
NOTE:  You have to share a picture or video of your project in order for me to give you feedback!

Grading Policy
There is NO official grade that will be given at the end of the course. The main goal of the course is to focus on your personal growth journey of art! This is why I send out a Weekly feedback so students can focus on areas they may need to improve, and are aware of their strong suits.

Example of Class Breakdown Tutorial Video:
≈ 1 min: greeting and introduction of what we will be sculpting in the tutorial, with a picture example to preview
≈ 3 mins: basic introduction into sculpting and step by step instructions as we prepare for our sculpture
≈ 3 mins: step by step instructions of gathering our clay, with any useful tips and tricks
≈ 6 mins: step by step instructions of shaping our clay pieces, with any useful tips and tricks
≈ 6 mins: step by step instructions on assembly our clay sculptures, with tips any useful and tricks
≈ 4 mins: step by step instructions of refining our sculptures, with any useful tips and tricks
≈ 2 mins: any last final details to completing our sculptures, and closing out class

Other Details

Parental Guidance
-If you are using oven bake clay, parents help may be needed when cooking the clay. (You can use a standard kitchen oven to bake polymer clay. Each clay package has specific clay baking instructions on how to bake it. I typically bake my clay for 15 minutes at 245 Fahrenheit!) - If you are using an Exacto Knife, parental guidance is MANDATORY! (You may use a clay plastic cutting tool for a safer alternative) Clay! (I use oven bake/polymer clay) - Clay Tools - An oven (if you are using oven bake clay) - (optional) Clay glaze if you want your finished clay project to be shiny!

Hello!👋🏻💖🎨 I'm Mrs. Morgan, specializing in polymer clay and (digital + physical) drawing classes.

🎓✨ Recently graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor’s Degree in December 2022! ✨🎓

I am currently a certified 120 hour TESOL teacher, I’ve taught over 2,200 classes to more than 800 students, in both online and in-person settings spanning nearly 4 years. 

ABOUT ME:
❤️ I married my husband in 2022, we just had a baby boy in November 2023, and I have a 6 year old bonus daughter!
❤️  Originally from Houston, Texas, now residing in Indiana, USA.
❤️ Art is not just my work but my passion!

MY ART JOURNEY:
🎨 Over a decade of sculpting with polymer clay!
🎨 Completed two art portfolios in one year, totaling 48 pieces – a notable achievement in Texas.
🎨 Participated and triumphed in various local and state art competitions, including hosting an art show with an auction.
🎨 I own a small art business where I am selling in a few physical stores, + an online shop!

🏆 My Art Portfolios have scored the highest rating, 2 times in the state of Texas!
🏆 Received a superior rating (at state level) for a sewing piece submission.
🏆 Sewing piece won top 20 artworks for the state!

     My classroom philosophy is to always practice Equity! Everyone has their own story to tell, and I would love to hear yours! I hope to make a difference in at least one of my student's lives!❤️

——> My Classroom rules! <——
- Classes should last the amount of time stated. However, depending on the amount of students, in a rare situation class may last slightly longer or shorter.
- I will wait 10 minutes in a class for a student to show up, if the student is still not there after 10 minutes, I will leave the classroom.
- Sibling students may log into class on the same device! (I just ask that you please enroll both siblings as a student in the classroom)
