In this 6 week intermediate photography course, students will learn how to choose the best aperture, shutter speed, and ISO to use their camera settings and create images that look exactly the way they want with good exposures.

Intermediate - Advanced Level
In this 6 week class, learners will learn how to set their aperture, shutter speed, and ISO to get good exposures in full manual mode. This class is currently offered as a self-paced course only and there are no live Zoom meetings for this class. Each week the class lesson video is posted in the Outschool classroom and students can watch it at any time during the week. Leaners share their own photographs taken while watching the class videos and we will interact with these images. Learners...

Students will be able to take photographs in full manual mode after taking this class.
I have taught this course several times and have taught many people to shoot in manual mode. It took me years to figure it out between many different classes. It was really frustrating. This curriculum was developed to make these settings easier to understand individually before using all 3 together. My students have done very well and I love to see photographs from past students as they continue to develop their skills.
Homework Offered
Students will have homework every week which will be to take around 5-10 photos with specific goals.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

We will review student work throughout class and additional guidance will be given as needed.Grades Offered

I recommend taking a photography fundamentals course like my Level 1 Course before learning manual mode.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Some students may need grown-up assistance with uploading photos from their cameras until they get the hang of it.
