👉 PLEASE NOTE--- this is a flexible schedule class, so there are NO scheduled live meetings. There will be pre-recorded videos and discussion boards based on the project assigned that week. Week 1Lesson 112-Bar BluesWe will learn about the 12-Bar Blues and create our own piece using the chord progression while adding our own fun and creative twistWeek 2Lesson 2Classical RemixWe will create a piece inspired by a famous classical song, but remix it using modern instrumentsWeek 3Lesson 3Fantastical InternationalWe will use ancient Chinese instruments to record a custom melody, and add international loops to create our own international songWeek 4Lesson 4Pop SongWe will learn to create a modern-day pop song using song writing form, popular chord progressions, modern instruments, and a new drumming technique
