Class Experience

Please read all of the information and feel free to contact me with any questions.

In this 4-week self paced class, students will learn how to buy or lease a car and the costs involved. There are NO LIVE meetings for this class, and the student is able to work at his/her own pace. I will respond to any messages and will provide feedback on assignments within 24 hours. The tasks for each week should take about hour to complete. This includes a current, energetic, class video that I will record for them to actively watch. There will also be an individual assignment, task and/or discussion post they will need to complete each week as well.

I am passionate about what I teach, and I understand that a virtual, active, hands on approach is what teens need to learn. I have been an online teacher for over 16 years. I have been a Business/Marketing Education Teacher since 1999. . I promise to make this experience fun and informative. I will post handouts, worksheets, websites, and we will practice with real life financial calculators and simulators.

My teaching style is fun, energetic and I like my students to lead the discussions and share with each other. We will use online tools as well as worksheets to help us learn. I hope your student can join my class soon!

Students do not need any prior knowledge of person finance. We will complete assignments, play games, watch videos, and do online research. Students will be able to share with each other via discussion posts.
