Class Experience
Ready to fall in love with painting? No painting experience is necessary.......Really! Just paint - a - long with Ms. Muse and by the end you will have created 3 Holiday masterpieces! These make great gift ideas! This is a FLEX class with NO LIVE MEETINGS. Weekly video instructions on Monday (snowman) Wednesday ( Santa) and Friday ( Reindeer ) will lead students through the painting process to create 3 Holiday acrylic paintings. Students will follow along by video step by step as I paint each detail. I will demonstrate how the paint colors work together and we'll layer these to create beautiful paintings with depth. They will learn painting terminology and some easy to remember techniques that they can use in their own future artwork. It's really exciting to see how proud they are of their work. Watch as they improve with each painting they create! Please see the supply list for what you will need for our class. Progress will be evaluated through a series of photos of their work posted to the classroom by Saturday of our scheduled week. I will provide individual feedback and guidance for each student.

Each Holiday character will need this set up :
11x14 surface such as
Canvas /canvas panel /canvas paper /watercolor paper/thick multi- media paper
*Please note, the structure/ timing of the class is geared toward SPECIFICALLY 11x14 or smaller .
SHORT HANDLED brushes :
(flexible, synthetic bristles please)
Large 3/4 “ or 1 " Flat wash brush
Small square angled brush
Medium sized ROUND brush ( size 8 )
Small sized /Detail ROUND brush with a nice point. ( size 3 or 4)
2 Bowls of water
EXTRA paper towels
2 Paper plates (one for paint and one for mixing )
Headphones are helpful 1 file available upon enrollment
